I couldn't explain to my parents what I was doing (my official designations were Web Editor & Multimedia Manager). I couldn't explain email, www, ICQ or chat.

Today, things are flipped. You're weird if you don't know these things :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05848016953589476476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33641630.post-2844237956489902772008-01-17T05:51:00.000+08:002008-01-17T05:51:00.000+08:00You made me remember my slow dial-up connection be...You made me remember my slow dial-up connection before way back in 1996.

How time flies.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33641630.post-68035507820234918972007-07-27T05:55:00.000+08:002007-07-27T05:55:00.000+08:00it's true, the internet is here to stay. we can on...it's true, the internet is here to stay. we can only evolve with it. :)phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04241591966933510958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33641630.post-46045440711549388552007-07-01T17:45:00.000+08:002007-07-01T17:45:00.000+08:00Hi Joan ! finally found your blog :)i wanted to co...Hi Joan !
finally found your blog :)
i wanted to contribute to Janette and write about "13 Years of the Philippine Internet" too but didn't have the time. However, much of what you mentioned is pretty much the life I've experienced on the internet. It's a good thing I used to work for an ISP which gave me the luxury of having unlimited internet access. Other than that, who knows how much I've spent on the web since I've gone online in 1996 in terms of internet accounts, email, hosting, domains, internet cafes and online shopping.

The only thing I think I would beg to differ would be having a universal password. I still prefer having tons of different passwords even if it may confuse you at times. The trick is remembering which password goes for which account.

Anyway, kudos to you and hope you'll still have time for your online venture... sabay tayo mag relaunch ha :)JayDJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00885561994032320274noreply@blogger.com
